A short guide on
how to use MyUltra .
MyUltra is your private domain of favorite sites stored
on the web so that you can access them from any computer in the world
running the UltraBrowser software. In other words, let your favorite
sites travel with you anywhere you go.
Every MyUltra account allows you to store links to sites
(Favorites/Bookmarks), categorize those sites into customizable folders,
and then determine if you want to share them with others.
- Click on the MyUltra button in the toolbar.
- Select Register MyUltra Account in the dialog box.
- Fill out the information accordingly and press Register.
- Make sure you provide the correct email address to be able to
recover your password in case you lose it or forget it.
- Click on the MyUltra button in the toolbar.
- Log-in with your User ID and Password.
- The MyUltra Panel will open on the left.
Adding links and folders:
- Once the MyUltra Panel opens, you can add a link by simply
visiting a web site then clicking the "Add Site" button in the
MyUltra Panel.
- To add a Category, Mouse Right Click and select "add category" -
Once the folder is created, you can rename it, add link directly inside
the folder, or drag and drop links into the folder.
Making your account Public or Private
- You can keep the links public (unlocked) and share them with
friends
- you can lock all the links and folders so that you are
the only one that can access them (Mouse Right
Click on a folder or a link then click
Lock)
- Or you can give permission to a "privileged" few
(Mouse Right Click on a folder, click Share
then input which one of your friends
accounts can have access.
Adding your friends' accounts to your main account
- Access your own account
- Mouse Right Click inside the MyUltra Panel and
select "Accounts.
- Click on "New" and input the account name you want to add with a
brief description "ex: Mike Smith"
- Put the newly added account in the display window by
pressing ">>" button. Your friend's account will now be added in
the MyUltra Panel.
