Welcome to MyWeb (or should we say "your web")


MyWeb is your private domain of favorite sites stored on the web so that you can access them from any computer in the world
running the UltraBrowser software.

It's simple to make "MyWeb" your own Internet portal... customized just for you !














Creating a MyWeb account
Click on the "MyWeb" Tab in the browser toolbar then click on the "Register MyWeb Account" button. A dialog box will appear
asking you to type in you user ID, password, and email address.
Note: It's important to put the correct email address as you will need this to recover a lost userID or password.




After your registration is complete, the "MyWeb" panel will open on the left side of your browser and it will look like this
(with your own account name)

Adding pages/links
Once you are logged in, the MyWeb panel opens to the left of your browser. There are three ways you can add favorite sites to your
"MyWeb" account:
  • After you see a site that you'd like to add to your account, simply click on the "Add Current Page..." button located in the "MyWeb"
    panel, then the link and title of that site is added automatically to your account database and appears also inside the panel.
    (Note: if you want to add the the link to a specific folder, first click on the folder then click on the "Add Current Page..." button)







  • If you see a specific link you want to add from a page, simply drag the link and drop it into the "MyWeb" panel.
    (Note: if you want to add the the link to a specific folder, simply drag and drop the link into the desired folder)




  • Click the "(+) New Link" button from the MyWeb Panel and simply input the title and link information in the Dialog box. "
    (Note: you can also right click on a folder or add a new link from the options drop-down menu)
Creating folders and sub-folders
Click on the "Options" menu from the "MyWeb" panel then select "Add folder"
(Note: You can also right click on the "MyWeb" panel, and select "Add folder")






To create sub-folders, follow the same steps above except you first select the folder where you want the subfolders created.
Moving links and folders
You can move links between folders or subfolders by simply dragging a link from one folder to another.
Click on a link, keep your mouse pressed, and drag the link to the desired folder.
(Note: You can also move folders the same way as links)
Editing titles for links/folders
Click one time to highlight the title of the link or folder you want renamed then click on it again; the text area of the title will be highlighted
for you to start editing. Once you're finished, either click outside of the title area or hit "Enter" on your keyboard.
Note: You can also rename a title of a link or folder by: 1. Right clicking on the item and selecting "Rename" or 2. Clicking on the item you want renamed,
clicking the "Options" button from the "MyWeb" panel and selecting "Rename"








Editing information of a link that has already been saved to "MyWeb" is simple. Click one time to highlight the link you want to edit then click
the "Options" menu from the "MyWeb" panel then select "Edit Link". A dialog box will open containing the information you want to edit. Once you
make the necessary changes, click "Update" to submit the changes (or click cancel to leave the information unchanged)
You can also edit information by: 1. Right clicking on the link and selecting "Edit Link" or 2. Clicking on the link you want to edit, clicking the "Options" button from
the "MyWeb" panel and selecting "Edit Link"


Add entire collections of pages to "MyWeb" from the pre-set Directories
With just one click, you get to add an entire collection of sites that meet your interest. Directories include Videos, Sports, Business,
Social Networking, Reference, Encyclopedias and much more…





Click the (+/-) directories button to manage your directories.
(Note: You can always change the description of any directory by clicking "Edit" from the directories' dialog window )
